Viking knitting is a looping technique with origins several centuries ago. In this class students will learn the basics of Viking knit with wire on a wooden dowel; no knitting needles are involved. Viking knit creates a chain that can be used to create jewelry including bracelets and necklaces. Finishing techniques will also be discussed. Suitable for all skill levels.


Supplies: Bring note taking supplies. Jewelry pliers, awl, drawplate and wire cutters, if you have them. Don't forget magnifiers if you need them.
