A striking marquise opal solitaire ring dating from the early 20th century. The opal displays fantastic colour play, dominated by vivid reds and blues, and also including oranges, greens, purples, and yellows. It's set in a simple 18 karat ring with interesting shoulder details reminiscent of woodturning, and clear English hallmarks from the year 1915.
